Oslo Flight Academy, in cooperation with our partner school Pacific States Aviation, is proud to announce the launch of the FAA & EASA Airline Pilot Program (APP).

From zero hours to airline pilot

The APP requires no previous flight experience and will give you all required licences to work as a First Officer for European airlines in 18-20 months.

What's included in the price?

  • Pre-departure course
  • FAA Commercial pilot training. Total of 227 flight hours
  • EASA ATPL-theory 
  • EASA CPL/IR conversion
  • APS MCC-course (40 hours B737NG sim)

Prerequisites 

  • At least 18 years of age
  • Have completed 13 years of basic education or equivalent knowledge satisfying the university admission certification (generell/realkompetanse)
  • Pass a pre-entry assessment

Student housing is available close to PSA flight academy. The housing is located within a gated community with a common recreational area, gym, and pool. The subway train (BART) station is within walking distance from the housing. BART takes you conveniently around the Bay Area, including to downtown San Francisco. Shopping areas and downtown Concord are within walking distance. PSA provides a free shuttle bus three times daily to and from the student housing facilities.

      Do I need a student visa in order to study in the US? 

      Yes. PSA has the privilege to issue I-20 forms for M1 visas

      Do I need any previous flight experience? 

      No, the program is designed to take you from zero experience to airline-ready

      I already have my EASA Private Pilot Licence. May I still enter the program? 

      Yes, the Airline Pilot Program is a modular program. As such you can enter the program at any experience level

      What is the pre-departure course?

      The pre-departure course is a brief distance learning course that is completed prior to departure to the US. It prepares you for the upcoming private pilot training.
